Recordings reviewed by The Brass Crest are suggested to us by our visitors. Eligible recordings will have been released within the previous 12 months from the date that the suggestion is received. Our reviews are based on the version of the recording that is available for public sale. We prefer to purchase the recording anonymously, using the same procedures as any other purchaser, at the regular price that anyone else would pay (the process of purchasing the recording is a part of the review itself). Demonstration recordings, special editions not generally available, and complimentary recordings will not be accepted for review.
If you have a recording you would like to suggest for review, please contact the Webmaster via email with the string [Review] (including the square brackets) in the subject line. Make sure that you include information on how we can obtain the recording as if we were any other purchaser. Please DO NOT send a copy of the recording unless instructed to do so by the Webmaster. Unsolicited recordings submitted for review will NOT be reviewed and will NOT be returned.
