The full title of this journal is Canadian Brass Band Journal for Smaller
Bands. It was published in 1955 or 1956 (the copies that are in the Prince
George's Corps Band music library have the copyright date 1955 on the pages, but
1956 on the cover).

The instrumentation listed is based on the set of books that is in the
Prince George's Corps Band music library. The score is missing from this set,
and it is possible that some parts were published that are also missing.
Apparently, no trombone parts were published. The cover of the baritone
parts suggests that they were intended for use by trombones also.

A new series of brass band pieces, begun in January of 2002. The first five pieces include two
recent works by Kevin Norbury, plus older works by Thomas Rive, Kenneth Smith, and Morley Calvert.
Songs of Faith is the Canadian supplement to the Song Book of the
Salvation Army. It was first published in 1971. The brass arrangements are
in four parts, similar to the scheme used in the
Band Tune Book.
