Hallelujah Choruses

This series is a collection of chorus arrangements designed for congregational and worship singing. The arrangements are in the familiar four plus optional fifth part format. Parts for keyboard and rhythm section (drums, bass guitar) are included. The arrangements, in a contemporary style, are by well-established brass arrangers such as Barrie Gott and Bill Broughton.

Another notable feature of this publication is an innovative approach to the issue of selling parts. Instead of supplying some number of each part, which may or may not fit the size of the group, a set of "master parts" (one each) is supplied. The purchaser is granted a limited license to duplicate the master parts as needed for the performing group. This allows the arrangements to be used by any size group without incurring extra cost for a small group or causing a large group to violate copyright in order to have parts for everyone.

American Festival Series

The American Festival Series was begun by the USA Central Territory Music Department in 1987. At the time, there was a perception that there were more works available than could be published in the Festival Series. There was also a perception (real or imagined) that the the publications from Salvationist Publishing and Supplies were biased toward British writers.

The first few years of this journal were not the best in terms of usage, and the series had some gaps in publication. It is now being published at the rate of one issue per year. The quality of the music has never been an issue. However, the limited number of bands capable of playing the difficulty of music presented means that many of the items are under-used.
