Kilgour Featured in Spring Festival

Cornet soloist Craig Kilgour was the special guest for the annual Spring Festival of the Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry). The event, held on 6 April 2013 at Enfield Baptist Church, also featured the Enfield Citadel Songsters (Songster Leader Tina Shepherd).

God and Country in Columbus

On the weekend of 6 – 7 April 2013, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) traveled to Columbus, Ohio, as the guest band for the annual God and Country Concert, in conjunction with the Brass Band of Columbus.

MSB at Belgrave Heights Easter Convention

For over 60 years, the Belgrave Heights Easter Convention has brought Melbourne Christians together for worship and Bible teaching. For the 2013 Convention, the Melbourne Staff Band (Bandmaster Ken Waterworth) participated in the Easter Sunday afternoon and evening sessions and also presented a short concert.

Enfield with Littlewood in Chelmsford

St. Andrews Church in Chelmsford was the venue for the 13th concert in aid of the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. Featured where the Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry), theater and television personality Ken Lodge, special guest vocalist Jared Littlewood and compère Sadie Nine from BBC Essex.

19th Visit to West Wickham

On the evening of 15 March 2013, the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Major George Whittingham) made its 19th visit to Emmanuel United Reformed Church, West Wickham. The concert featured young cornet soloist Thomas Nielsen.

Boscombe Annual Open Rehearsal

The Boscombe Band (Bandmaster Dr. Howard J. Evans) held its annual open rehearsal and reservists night on Thursday, 7 March 2013. As always, this event was well-attended and gave the members of the Band Reserve and other friends of the band an opportunity to hear music old and new.

Proms Night in Birmingham

Originally scheduled for Saturday, 19 January, the annual Proms Night at Birmingham Citadel was postponed because of snow. So it was with a hint of nervousness that the Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) arrived at the Citadel two weeks later to see just how many would come to the rearranged concert.
