New River Valley Weekend for National Capital Band

On the weekend of 3 – 4 March 2007, the National Capital Band of the Salvation Army (Bandmaster James B. Anderson) journeyed to the New River Valley in southwestern Virginia. The weekend marked the dedication of a new building for the New River Valley Corps, based in Christiansburg.

Canadian Staff Band Weekend in Toronto and London

On the weekend of 2 – 4 March 2007, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Brian Burditt) performed in a series of engagements in Toronto and London, Ontario. Beginning with a performance as a part of the annual Festival of Brass hosted by the Hannaford Street Silver Band on Friday evening, the Staff Band also joined with musical forces at London Citadel for a Saturday evening festival and Sunday worship service.

5th Annual Concert in Hythe

The fifth Annual Concert featuring the Hythe Band of the Salvation Army and the Hythe Town Concert Band was held on 3 March 2007, to a standing room only audience.
