Christmas with the Salvation Army in Toronto

The fourth annual Christmas with the Salvation Army concert was held on 2 December 2006 at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto. In addition to the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Brian Burditt), this year's festival also included a festival chorus and special guests Jude Gotrich and the Duncan Hopkins Quartet.

Cradley Heath Corps held its annual Christmas Carol Concert on 2 December 2006 at Halesowen Cornbow Hall. The event was a benefit for autism.westmidlands.

Annual Cloud 9 Christmas Concert in Gloucester

The Gloucester Salvation Army hosted the Annual Cloud 9 Christmas Carol service on Friday, 1 December 2006. This year's event had special significance as it marks the 20th anniversary of the Cloud 9 charity, which provides terminally and seriously ill children with vacations to Walt Disney World in Florida.

Carols in Swansea

The Swansea Citadel Band, Songsters, Singing Company and Young People's Band Learners presented a Civic Carol Concert. Special guests for the evening were the Morriston Rugby Club male voice choir. Chief Secretary Lt.-Colonel William Cochrane served as the compére for the event. Over 2,000 persons attended over two performances, and £2,500 was raised for the Lord Mayor's Charity.

5th Annual Brass Weekend in Kingston, New York

The 5th annual Brass Band Weekend in Kingston, New York, was held on 17 – 18 November 2006. Featuring the New York Staff Band (Bandmaster Ronald Waiksnoris), the event was sponsored by the Kingston Citadel Corps, led by corps officers Captain James C. Kisser, Jr. and Auxiliary Captain Deborah L. Kisser.

Cancer Research Benefit in Upper Norwood

Despite adverse weather conditions, a good audience was in place for the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Major George Whittingham) and guest soloists Kevin Ashman (cornet) and Dr. Simon Schultz (piano) at Upper Norwood for the third annual concert in support of Cancer Research UK, held on 17 November 2006.

Morning at 614, Afternoon with Favourite Hymns

On 12 November 2006, the Melbourne Staff Band (Bandmaster Ken Waterworth) joined with the community and members of the Melbourne 614 project, located on Bourke Street in the heart of Melbourne's Central Business District. Following the worship services at Melbourne 614, the Staff Band moved to the Melbourne Town Hall for a program entitled “Our Favourite Hymns”, presented by The Bible Society and 89.9 LightFM Radio.
