Musical Christmas Extravaganza in Derby

The Derby Central Band of the Salvation Army (Bandmaster Alan Losh) joined with the Grand Central Chorus and Vox Concordia at The Riverside Center, Pride Park, Derby, on 3 December 2005 for a Christmas extravaganza.

Salvation Army Marches in Toronto Santa Claus Parade

The Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Kevin Hayward) formed the nucleus of a 75-piece band as the Salvation Army participated in the Toronto Santa Claus Parade for the first time in over 30 years.

A small but busy group from Mablethorpe Citadel had many engagements during 2005, and more planned for 2006. Musicians traveling through and in the area are invited to join with the band in its many opportunities for service.

27th Annual Civic Carol Concert in Reading

The Reading Central Salvation Army corps hosted the 27th annual Civic Carol Concert at the Hexagon Theatre on 26 November 2005. This is a major community event, with two performances attended by a combined 2,400 persons and this year raised over £12,000 for the benefit of several charities.

Gloucester 126th Features Regent Hall Band

The Salvation Army corps in Gloucester celebrated its 126th anniversary on the weekend of 26 - 27 November 2005. The event was marked by the visit of the Regent Hall Band from London.
