Keachie Steps Down

The Govan Citadel Band of the Salvation Army has announced that Bandmaster Brian Keachie will relinquish his position following the band’s last engagement of 2009, on 20 December.

Keachie has been Bandmaster at Govan Citadel for the last three years. A statement from Band Secretary Colin McFarlane states that “the Band would place on record their thanks and appreciation for his hard work and leadership in that time. We look forward to Brian resuming his place [as a player] in the Band.”

A new Bandmaster will be appointed in due course.
