North York Welcomes Players

The North York Temple Band (Bandmaster Glenn Barlow) welcomes several new players for the upcoming 2009-2010 season.

Alex Bolton has returned “to the fold” from Oshawa Temple after a short departure. Alex is a member of the horn section of the Canadian Staff Band and rejoins NYTB on second 1st Horn.

NYTB welcomes Stuart Walter, who transferred in from North Toronto. Stuart will be joining the band on Second Cornet and is a good upcoming cornet player and a welcome addition to the band.

Following service in the NYT Youth Band, the band are now happy to welcome Caitlyn Allington into the Second Horn section. Caitlyn comes from a rich Salvation Army banding heritage and is developing into a fine player.

Harrison Venables has been promoted from top Second Cornet to Solo Cornet 5. Congratulations Harrison!
