Moving Up at Norwich
Sunday, 28 June 2009 was a special day for Cameron Johnson when he was commissioned as a bandsman at Norwich Citadel, transferring from the Young People’s Band at the corps.
Johnson joins the Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Richard Woodrow) on first cornet. His grandfather, Ray Todd, is a valued member on the front row the of the band’s cornet section, and is well-known around the Salvation Army banding world as a soloist and principal cornet, as well as the Deputy Bandmaster of the Chalk Farm Band for many years.
