ISB Personnel Changes

The International Staff Band (Bandmaster Stephen Cobb) announced a number of personnel changes in January 2009.

Philip Cobb (Hendon) and Philip Wainwright (Bromley), who are both students, had been in the band for a relatively short time, just under two years each, but both made an extremely valuable contribution to the band’s ministry. Alan Losh (Derby Central) had been a member of the ISB for some eleven years and given excellent service throughout term of membership.

The Secretary of the ISB has announced that replacements have been named for all three departing players. Carl Nielsen (Croydon Citadel) and David Purkiss (Derby Citadel) are joining the solo cornet section and Andrew Dickinson (Birmingham Citadel, Sheffield Citadel as a student) will be on first horn.
