Govan Citadel Announces New Bandmaster

The Govan Citadel Band, Glasgow, Scotland, have announced that their principal cornet, Brian Keachie, has been appointed Bandmaster. Brian has a wealth of experience as a brass band trainer and conductor, and is currently the resident conductor of the Bo'ness and Carriden Band, which competes in the Championship Section. He is also a former Scottish Champion Soloist.

The band expresses its gratitude to Bandmaster Alex Williams, who will trade his baton for his old place in the trombone section.
