Golden Oldies Benefit Leukaemia Fund
On the evening of Saturday, September 17, 2005, the Anglia Golden Oldies Band (Bandmaster Bram Scott) joined with the Norfolk Choral Fellowship for a concert to benefit the Leukaemia Research Fund. A total of £1100 was raised, and an application under the Barclays Bank sponsorship program is being prepared.
Items from the band included the old classic march, The Red Shield, Plantation Melodies, and Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral. Bram Skuse played the cornet solo Clear Skies and Elayne Green sang Psalm 23. Choral items included Hallelujah to the Lamb, Catch a Falling Star, and Angel Celebration.
