Marching for Impact in Denver
The Front Range Band (Bandmaster Stan Kelley) will be among the featured groups participating in a March of Witness in Denver, Colorado on Sunday, 10 October 2004. The march will to highlight services provided by the Salvation Army's Denver Red Shield to the neighborhoods of Whittier, Five Points, Cole, Skyland, and Clayton. The Front Range Band is a British-style brass band made up of Salvationists and others from the Denver, Colorado area.
In addition to the band, up to 500 other persons are expected to participate in the March of Witness, including Denver civic officials, members of the Denver Citadel Corps of the Salvation Army, the Color Guard from nearby Buckley Air Force Base, local members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans, and former National Football League players.
The March of Witness will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 10, beginning at 27th Street and Welton Street and ending at the Denver Red Shield at 29th Street and High Street.
