18th Annual Carol Concert for Swansea

On December 21, 2003, the Swansea Citadel Band (Bandmaster Chris Smith), Songsters (choir), and Singing Company (youth choir) presented their 18th annual Carol Concert. The venue was Brangwyn Hall in Swansea, Wales. The groups held two performances, each with over a thousand in attendance. The concert also featured the Morriston Rugby Club male voice choir.

The band's contributions to the evening included The Good News and The Everlasting Light. The Songsters sang a recently-published carol by Salvationist songwriter Yvonne Field, Beautiful Child. They also gave a performance of Proclaim the Glory of the Lord, with Bandmaster Smith providing extra support on cornet. The concert concluded with a live nativity scene (including an actual baby!).
