MSB Member Promoted to Glory

The Melbourne Staff Band has lost one of its long-time members. Melville Smith, a member of the band since 1976, passed away on March 19, 2003. He played First Horn and also served as the Band Treasurer.

Mr. Smith was a soldier at the Ringwood Corps. He is survived by his wife, Wendy, and three sons, Paul, Jamie, and Damien. Paul and Jamie are currently members of the Melbourne Staff Band.
