Spring Music Festival in Bermuda
"The Light of the World" is the theme for the Bermuda Division's Spring Festival. The festival will be held on Saturday, 25 May 2002 at the Ruth Seaton James Performing Arts Centre. Featured groups will include the Bermuda Divisional Band of the Salvation Army and a military group, the Bermuda Regiment Band. The special guest will be internationally-known vocalist Jude Gotrich, from Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
The Ruth Seaton James Auditorium, at 650 seats, is the largest music auditorium in Bermuda. It is a
part of the Cedar Bridge Academy (pictured at right), which opened on 15 September 1997 as
Bermuda's "mega-school".
Admission for the concert, which will commence at 7:30 p.m., is $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be obtained from participating band members, all Salvation Army churches on Bermuda, or the Salvation Army Bermuda Divisional Headquarters, located at 92 Reid Street in Hamilton. The Divisional Headquarters telephone number is 441.292.0601.
