Chicago Staff Band ~ Annual Thanksgiving Concert 2001

Bandmaster William Himes and the Chicago Staff Band will present their annual Thanksgiving Concert at 7:30 pm on Saturday, 24 November 2001. Joining the band as their special guests will be the Milwaukee Choristers, led by Dr. James B. Kinchen. The concert will be held in the Edman Chapel on the campus of Wheaton College.

An 80-voice choir, the Milwaukee Choristers were formed in 1933 as an a capella choir composed of graduates from the Riverside High School. The choir has performed in several countries, including Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Poland and the United Kingdom. They were also featured at the New York World's Fair (1964) and the lighting of the National Christmas Tree (1984).
