Anderson Named Territorial Music Secretary
Bandmaster James Anderson, currently Territorial Music Education Director for the USA Southern Territory, has been appointed to succeed Bandmaster Ivor Bosanko as the Territorial Music Secretary of the USA Western Territory.
Bandmaster Anderson, a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and the Jordanhill College of Education, taught music and worked as an administrator for twenty years in the Scottish public schools before moving to the United States as Divisional Music Director of the Texas Division in 1992. He took his current position at the USA Southern territorial headquarters in 1999.
The appointment will take effect in late September, when Bandmaster Bosanko retires after twenty years as Territorial Music Secretary in the West.
