Mid-Winter Music Retreat in Northern New England

Bandmaster Ronald Waiksnoris, USA Eastern Territory music director, was the special guest at the first annual Mid-Winter Music Retreat sponsored by the Northern New England Division. The two-day event was held at the Sheraton Hotel in South Portland, Maine. The retreat featured Bandmaster Waiksnoris conducting rehearsals with the divisional youth band and students of the Divisional Music Institute, as well as timbrels, mime, and dance activities. The event was coordinated by the divisional Gospel Arts Director, Andrew Poulopoulos. It is planned that this become an annual event.
