Link Request Form

Use this form to suggest a link to The Brass Crest. Please use this form for link requests and corrections only. To submit an item for the News section or a concert announcement, please use the News Form.

All links included on The Brass Crest's Links pages are personally selected by the webmaster. Placement of the sites on the page is determined by the type of site. The Brass Crest does not accept any form of payment for links, however, a reciprocal link would be appreciated. The following general restrictions apply:

• No links will be accepted for sites that contain pornography or other objectionable material.
• Sites which offer music downloads will be included only if the webmaster is satisfied that any applicable copyright restrictions have been met.
• A request for a link must be accompanied by a valid email address.

Beginning on 1 July 2009, the Links Section expands to include separate pages for links to social networking sites Twitter and Facebook. Requested links to pages on these networks will be automatically routed to the appropriate sections. As with any link, the webmaster must personally verify that the pages meet the restrictions above. For Facebook links, this means that the webmaster must be able to see your profile page, so expect to get a friend request from the webmaster (Robert D. Schramm). Please note that a valid email address is still required for social networking links.

The Brass Crest is not primarily a link site. Several excellent sites for brass band links exist, including the Internet Bandsman’s Everything Within, the Brass Band Portal, and BrassLink. We suggest that you also submit your site to these sites to insure maximum coverage.
